My photography career started in my early teens when I began taking senior photos. This eventually led to more editorial work, and I was able to build my creative photo portfolio. My passion and business grew in New York where I began working in the music industry as a digital artist making album covers, doing promotional shoots, and creating Spotify canvasses. At the same time, I stepped into a new creative space, illustrating for children's books and taking on other professional design work.
Originally from Washington State, I moved to New York City after high school where I attended LIM College to pursue Visual Studies. After living in Brooklyn for five years, I made the move to
Midcoast Maine with my dog, Nessie, and
have been enjoying the slower pace
ever since.
Moving to Maine, my creative practice
slowed as my life slowed. Still passionate about photography, the small town
lifestyle infiltrated my artwork as I became
fascinated with textile arts, specifically quilting. Now, I am balancing my photography business, children's book illustrations, design work, and pursuing a more traditional creative outlet using needle and thread, all while finding joy in the calm of coastal Maine.
